FAQs
What programs do you offer?
We currently offer an in-person Phlebotomy Technician training program designed to prepare students for entry-level careers in healthcare. The course includes classroom instruction, hands-on lab practice, and eligibility for the national certification exam.
Do I need prior experience to enroll?
No prior medical experience or prerequisites are required to enroll. Our programs are designed for beginners as well as those looking to grow in their existing healthcare career. However, students must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background check, provide proof of required immunizations and/or TB testing, and have a valid government-issued photo ID.
Is a phlebotomy career right for me?
Phlebotomy is a great career path for anyone who enjoys helping others, thrives in hands-on environments, and is looking to enter the medical field without spending years in school. It’s ideal for recent grads, career changers, or anyone who wants a stable, in-demand job with room for growth.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes — students who complete the course and meet all requirements will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate verifies that you’ve met California’s state-approved training standards for phlebotomy and qualifies you to apply for the national certification exam and state licensure (if applicable). Your certificate can also be presented to externship sites and future employers as proof of your training.
How do I enroll?
We offer easy online enrollment through our website — just click the “Enroll” tab to get started. Once you complete the form and submit payment, you’ll receive an email confirmation with next steps and important course details. Courses that are at maximum capacity will be designated as “Waitlist Only”.
Is an externship included?
Our program includes a clinical externship, which gives students the opportunity to apply their classroom and lab skills in a real-world medical setting. We partner with local hospitals, clinics, and laboratories to provide hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed professionals. Completion of the externship is a key step toward certification and enhances your resume for future employment opportunities.
